a sewing pattern this is!!!

Sew here you are, Howl-O-Ween is only a few days away... and you've realized it's way too late to order a fancy schmancy pet costume from an on-line retailer, sew you go to your local pet store and all the HAUTE costumes are sold-out!!! Now you feel like a total failure as a pet-parent (and for good reason too)... if that about sums things up, do we ever have a solution for you!!!

Make them one yourself... YES, you heard us correctly, start channeling you inner Martha Stewart, fire up that Singer (sewing machine) that's been hiding in the guest room closet since your youngest hu-kid graduated from kindergarten, and whip a little something from scratch!!!

It's gonna be easier than you think, it turns out that there are still companies out there making sewing patterns, how charmingly 1950's, and some of those patterns are for pets, pet costumes, pet clothes, pet jackets, pet toys and pet beds too!!! How Craaaaazy HAUTE is that???

We're thinking this homemade/handmade pet clothing thing could really catch on, with the economy still in the crapper, and the entire holiday season unfolding in front of us, the possibilities seem limitless!!!

Imagine a "Pug in a Pumpkin" costume made out of an old orange mu-mu, for Thanksgiving, or perhaps a "Samoyed in a Santa Suit" lovingly hand made from an old red tablecloth and a box of cotton balls!!! What pet, beside Loca (spoiled bitch) wouldn't love a holiday gift that was loving painstakingly created just for them... none we can think of!!!

Homemade = HAUTE!!!
