HEY... I thought they were getting a Lab!!!

The newest royal makes a splash in the UK!!!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are apparently not so different from us after all. They too have welcomed a fur-baby into their family!!!

The word on the street was that their new pup was a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, but the palace recently dispelled these rumors, telling the TODAY Show that the new puppy is actually a Cocker Spaniel.

The pup’s name has not yet been revealed (but since it's a boy it's probably not going to be Pipa) according to Express.co.uk, Cockers are a Middleton family favorite!!! We think it's a HAUTE choice too!!!

The royal family is no stranger to four-legged friends as Prince Charles and wife Camilla have a Jack Russell Terrier and Queen Elizabeth is known for her love of Corgis.
