Who doesn't need a refreshing fruit smoothie on a Haute summer afternoon?!?

Stupid question, I know... everyone needs to stay cool and refreshed as the mercury rises to meet the humidity, and when we say, everybody, we mean it including Fifi & Fido, or in this case Gordi & Loca!!!

Now that you've ordered Cool Treats for the fur babies, why not do a little something for yourself, try out our favorite smoothie recipe, a little Orange Julius concoction, I add a little vodka to this recipe but that is entirely up to you!!!

Who knows if this is the real recipe for an Orange Julius, especially with egg whites, but it tastes awesome so who cares!!!

Ingredients:

* 1 cup orange juice
* 1 cup water
* 2 egg whites
* 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 heaping cup ice

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender set on high speed for 15-30 seconds, it couldn't be much easier than that.

Makes 2 cocktails.
